He is currently pursuing an MBA in Business Management at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL), where his academic interests include business, marketing, and the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Alongside his work in international education, Nayem has built his professional career in digital marketing, advertising, sales, and business development. He currently works as a Client Partner supporting Reddit Ads, working with businesses across the European market on digital advertising, client growth, and business development.

Having personally experienced studying, relocating, and building a professional career in Europe, Nayem understands that studying abroad involves much more than securing a university admission. Students also need realistic guidance about visas, finances, relocation, career opportunities, and life after graduation.

Today, he leads EU Study Support’s strategy and student services, with a particular focus on Portugal and other European study destinations. His approach combines his experience as an international student, his professional career in Europe, and his knowledge of digital business to help students make informed decisions about their education and future.

He is currently pursuing his PhD in Computer Science at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto (FCUP), where his research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and vision-language technologies. His research explores how advanced AI systems can better understand and connect textual and visual information.

Alongside his doctoral studies, Tahsir works as a Research Assistant at INESC TEC, affiliated with the Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Laboratory. He has been associated with INESC TEC in this role since November 2023.

Before beginning his PhD in Portugal, Tahsir completed his Master’s degree in Data Science at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow, Russia.

He has contributed to academic research in Large Language Models, machine learning, image processing, knowledge graphs, and sentiment analysis, with research published through international academic conferences and publications.

At EU Study Support, Tahsir brings his international academic and research experience to help students better understand European higher education and make informed decisions about their academic future.

He holds a PhD in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies from the University of Lisbon. His doctoral research focused on the impacts of sea-level rise and adaptation strategies for the coastal regions of Bangladesh. His expertise includes Climate Change Adaptation, Climate Risk Assessment, Remote Sensing and GIS, and Nature-Based Solutions.

Dr. Roy currently works as a Researcher at cE3c, Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes, within the Climate Risk Management research group. His research has also involved European Horizon 2020 projects addressing climate change, adaptation, agriculture, and sustainable development.

He earned a Master’s degree in Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management from the University of Padova, Italy, as well as a Master of Science in Forestry and a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Roy has worked with international researchers, government agencies, NGOs, and local communities, combining scientific research with practical solutions to environmental and climate-related challenges.

At EU Study Support, he brings extensive experience from both the Bangladeshi and European higher education systems to support students’ academic decisions.

Having personally navigated the European immigration process in Portugal, including student visa, tax and social security registration, and residence permit procedures, Oliur brings practical experience of the documentation challenges students can face.

With a Master’s and Bachelor’s in English and a professional background in HR and compliance, he helps prepare complete, compliant, submission-ready files.

His expertise includes student and residence visas, document verification, application preparation, embassy coordination, and post-arrival documentation, including NIF, NISS, and residence permit procedures.
